The practical training must be included in a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Services and Health Care and promote vocational skills.
Provisions on Bachelor's degrees are laid down in the Universities of Applied Sciences Act and in the Government Decree on Universities of Applied Sciences. It is possible to apply for training compensation for training included in a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Services and Health Care that promote vocational skills as specified in the appendix to the Decree.

The content of the bachelor’s degree is specified in more detail in the curriculum defined by each university of applied sciences and the study regulations in accordance with Section 30, Subsection 1 of the Universities of Applied Sciences Act. The student’s practical training must comply with the curriculum of the university of applied sciences in question, be included in a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Services and Health Care and promote vocational skills.
