Oversight of library services
At the Regional State Administrative Agencies, we enforce the legality of the operation of libraries. We only supervise the library services of municipalities through complaints. If we have granted state aid to a library, we monitor the use of aid.
Anyone can file a complaint on the operation of a library. You can file a complaint if you suspect, for example, that the municipality’s library services have acted contrary to the law or good governance or if an error or neglect of official duties has occurred.
We provide in-service training for library personnel and give advice to prevent conflicts, if necessary. Our event calendar has more information about the in-service training we provide.
You can find more information on filing a complaint on the page Enforcement and reporting violations.
