Aldo chatbot helps with alcohol licensing

Aldo provides customer service 24/7. It is programmed to answer frequently asked questions about alcohol licensing. 

Aldo is a chatbot, i.e. a software application that is capable of conversing with humans and providing customer service. Aldo’s name is an abbreviation of the Finnish for “digital coordination of alcohol licences”. 

Aldo’s job is to point customers directly to the forms or sources of information that they need and to explain where the forms and supporting documents should be sent. 

Aldo is under constant development to make it more and more effective. It is part of Regional State Administrative Agencies’ customer-friendliness trial, the results of which are being analysed at the moment.
